Warehouses & Factories - Film and audiovisual archives from the Hauts-de-France region
Founded in 2003, the ARCHIPOP film association aims to collect, preserve, document and showcase the private film archives* of the Hauts-de-France region. The association focuses on searching for and recovering the unseen, uncatalogued footage that is scattered across the region, which represents a century of amateur film-making.
To achieve this, ARCHIPOP carries out investigations, performs technical processing and analyses the various film media. The goal is to compile a regional archive of private films, to complement the existing regional collection of 20th century professional and institutional screen productions.
