APCAG-CINUCA

APCAG (Association pour la Promotion du Cinéma des Antilles et Guyane) was created in 2007 at the initiative of several film distribution players in Guadeloupe. It aims to build a network to promote and distribute arthouse films, Global South films and especially Caribbean films in municipal and independent cinemas. It also seeks to showcase local film-makers, partner with festivals, organise screenwriting workshops and shine a spotlight on Caribbean audiovisual heritage, as well as to expand cinema networks and enhance their equipment. APCAG aims to support the development of the film industry in Guadeloupe, and more broadly in the Antilles, French Guiana and the Caribbean.
